About Us

As care management specialists, we understand the emotional, mental and economic struggle that elderly, sick and disabled individuals and their families face as loved ones become increasingly dependent. The burden of the circumstances and responsibilities can become overwhelming on family caregivers. We take a warm and caring approach to help our clients manage and overcome these obstacles.

By conducting an individualized assessment, we develop an all-encompassing, personalized action plan that simplifies and expedites the decision making process families are forced to face.

Our care managers align with families and their loved one based on their needs, resources, and personality types. Each client is matched with a dedicated care manager who becomes familiar with their particular circumstances. This enables our care manager to be emotionally supportive, better manage daily tasks, coordinate service providers and medical specialists, and provide peace of mind to the family and their loved one.

All our care managers have access to trusted, quality resources and are backed by a knowledgeable team – you are not alone. Together we work to ensure the highest quality of life for our clients and their families.

Director and Founder

Maryann is a licensed clinical social worker and has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. She has worked to provide help and service to the elderly and their families the past twenty-five years. Her experience includes Director of a Special Care Project for the homebound elderly, Director of Social Services at a 500-bed nursing home and she is an experienced psychotherapist. Maryann has served as Chapter President of the NJ Chapter of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Her experience has made her an expert in identifying and solving many of the complex problems you are facing.

Based on her own experiences dealing with the pain of aging family members, she founded Caring Choices 25 years ago to help the elderly, the disabled and their families who were at a loss and seeking answers.

She’s learned that most people don’t plan to fail. They fail to plan and as a result, they are often left with regret.

“What impressed us about Maryann is how much she understood and how much she cared about us. Caring Choices invest their energy and expertise in offering clear choices, Caring Choices at a time when we needed it the most.” ~ Past Client
